2 Year Ceramic Protection:
Our 2 year ceramic protection consist of two applications
of Cquartz UK 3.0. This semi-permanent ceramic coating
provides your vehicle's exterior paint with a sacrificial
layer of protection or “clearcoat”. Once this
polymer blended ceramic bonds with your
paint, it will have many benefits such as
increased resistance to: swirl marks,
paint etching, harsh chemicals, and
environmental factors. As the usual case
with ceramic coatings, gloss and
waterbeading are greatly improved. We are
also able to apply this coating to all surfaces at the request of the customer. Application time may vary between 1-4 hours, before paint correction time. This coating takes ~2 weeks to reach full chemical hardness, curing time.

3 Year Ceramic Protection
Our 3 year ceramic protection involves an application of Sonax CC36. This two part ceramic coating last up to 36 months; hence the name.
It forms a flexible “shell” around your vehicles original paint, providing superior resistance against
environmental factors, waterspots, bird
droppings, car wash scratches and so
much more. This coating is extremely
hydrophobic, meaning it rejects water
from bonding to the coating. We have
tested this product in real world settings,
and meets all client needs when it comes
to a ceramic coating. Application time varies between 2-4 hours. This ceramic coating is ready to be released 1 hour after application, and takes 3 days at +15*c to reach maximum hardness.

5 Year Ceramic Protection
Our 5 year ceramic protection is a long lasting protection product we at Toronto Buffing Inc offer. It involves two applications of a
product known as Gtechniq Crystal Serum Lite.
This coating is rated at the 9H level of hardness.
This particular coating is argued one of the best
ceramic coatings available to the public. When
incorrectly applied, this coating can only be
removed with aggressive polishing. This coating protects your paint from chemicals ranging from the pH Level 2- pH Level2. Benifits include swirl and scratch resistance, permanent gloss, dirt repelancy, and so much more. Application time for this coating is set at 3-5 hours.

Note with all of ceramic coating packages, it is necessary to book a coating maintenance at least twice a year. During this service, we decontaminate your coating and retreat the surface to ensure longevity.

Ceramic Coatings: A Paint Protector and Enhancer
Chances are, if you own a vehicle, you have heard of the term "Ceramic Coatings". There is a lot of confusion in terms of what ceramic coatings are, and beliefs of what a ceramic coating is capable of.
Simply put, a ceramic coating can be defined as an additional protective layer of material applied to a surface. Generally, ceramic coatings are composed of one of two chemicals.
SiO2, Silicon Dioxide, or more commonly
known as "Quartz". This is by far the most
popular ingredient in todays ceramic
coatings. A variation of this chemical, and
solvents, make up many of the high end
coatings in the market including Ceramic
Pro 9H, Sonax CC36 Basecoat, and Cquartz UK 3.0.
TiO2, or "Titanium Dioxide"is another popular ceramic coating chemical. In our arsenal, it is only used in the top coat Ceramic Pro Light.
Both of these chemicals are very hazardous, and can cause serious health problems when mishandled.
In the car and automotive realm, when we discuss ceramic coatings, we are referring to their use on paint. Ceramic coatings increase the hardness and durability of an automotive paint surface. Ultimately, ceramic coatings are paint protection products. To which extent the surface hardness is increased by depends on several factors such as product being installed, how the product is installed, and original paint hardness.
Chemical and water resistance is a common
reason clients have their vehicles ceramic
coated. A ceramic coated vehicle is much
easier to clean, as there is a layer preventing
dirt from sticking. Many coatings feature the
"self cleaning effect", shown in this video.
Ceramic coatings are not only for protection. Many decide to get ceramic coatings for the enhancing effects it has on paint. After a ceramic coating install, paint is glossy, and slick to the touch. The vehicle presents its sapphire gloss wash after wax, for the duration of the coating.
